LIGHT UAS PILOT COURSE
Provided by the Centre Québécois de Formation en Aéronautique (CQFA)
The light UAV Professional Pilot Course is now 140 hours. A 3-hour online training on the management of threats and errors has been added as well as a 6-hour in class seminar on Lithium-ion Polymer batteries, all integrated at no extra cost in the training program.
UAV PILOT TRAINING
Offered by Spectral Aviation and the UAS CE The training is intended for anyone who wishes to operate a UAV, either for pleasure or for business purposes.
Based on Transport Canada’s unmmaned aircraft trainings, this class will allow participants to master theses elements to properly control UAV’s:
- Flight theory
- Canadian Aviation Regulations (CARs)
- UAV instruments
- Radio procedures
- Various existing systems
Once the training is completed, participants will be able to carry out safe UAV operations with proper knowledge of Transport Canada regulations.
What about practical training?
Spectral Aviation truly believes that the pratical training should be given by the manufacturer to ensure safe flight operations. Duration of the training
The training is 40 hours, spread over 5 days. The classroom hours are from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
After completing the training, you will receive the following certifications:
- Course completion certificate issued by the UAS CE and Spectral Aviation
- Restricted Operator Certificate With Aeronautical Qualification
The course completion certificate is proof of your theoretical knowledge when requesting a Special Flight Operation Certificate (SFOC) from Transport Canada.
